mej thai noodles (or your choice of noodle)
Beef
Paste:
2 cloves garlic
1 shallot
a small chunk of ginger (slice)
1/2 tbs chop lemon grass
1-2 red jalapeno
2-3 thai chili pepper and salt
In a mortar pestle, add all these ingredient and mash it.
Sauce:
1/4 C oyster sauce
2 tbs of (each) golden mountain
fish sauce
maggi
soy sauce
sriracha
honey
One slice of lime juice. Mix in a small bowl.
1Cook the paste with oil in heated pan/wok until the garlic becomes golden brown.
2On the side, soak the noodles in warm water until
3Once the paste has become golden brown add in the meat.
4Cook the meat half way and then add in the snow peas. Add in the cilantro and green onion (optional).
5Once the snow peas are slightly soft add in the noodle.
6Stir and add in about half the sauce.
7Stir for a bit and it's ready to be serve!
